Dancers Workout

Dancer, choreographer, and fitness guru, Eric Zimmer, is serving up a lively assortment of conditioning exercises for dancers AND non-dancers alike. This DANCERS WORKOUT is based on the principles of classical ballet, Pilates and traditional fitness. These dance-based movements flow to music and have been designed to restore alignment, balance, flexibility and strength from the “inside out.” You don’t have to have any special training or previous dance experience to enjoy and benefit from this class. Put your best foot forward and come experience a fresh new look at exercise from a dancer’s perspective!
Participants should be barefoot, wear socks, or ballet slippers (no restrictive dance shoes allowed!). The DANCERS WORKOUT series is performed either standing or on a mat and uses light equipment like bands and balls to maximize performance.
