Belly Dance for Beginners (intro/beg)

Bellydancing is a fun, physically challenging way to increase body awareness, coordination, balance, and self confidence. Students will start with the basic components of Bellydancing, including posture, body framing, isolations and shimmy! Because Bellydancing celebrates the female form (and you need to see what your body is doing in order to learn!) please wear clothing that will enable you to see your beautiful body move! Hip scarves and bare feet are also encouraged.
